Endeavor Health is seeking a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to lead philanthropic initiatives and shape the future of healthcare philanthropy at Endeavor Health. In this newly created role,the CDO will spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive philanthropy strategy, fostering a culture of giving and attracting transformative gifts across a recently merged health system.
As the third-largest health system in Illinois, Endeavor Health serves over 1.3 million patients and is committed to advancing healthcare standards and philanthropic endeavors in the region.This is an exceptional role for a leader with 15-plus years of management experience in fundraising, expertise in all areas of philanthropy, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Successful candidates will:
• Develop and execute a compelling philanthropy vision aligned with Endeavor Health's mission, driving strategic fundraising initiatives from conception to achievement.
• Oversee and collaborate with local Foundations to support innovation, amplify impact,and strengthen operations, fostering a vibrant culture of philanthropy internally and externally.
• Lead collaborative fundraising efforts, implement best practices, and provide centralized services to streamline operations and fulfill philanthropic potential.
