The Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Director of Development to join our dynamic Advancement team.

Your Impact
As Associate Director of Development, you will:

• Manage a portfolio of 75 major donor prospects, focusing on gifts of $100,000 or more

• Engage and solicit alumni, corporations, and foundations through strategic outreach and relationship-building

• Conduct 12 to 15 donor visits per month, leading to two to four major gift solicitations

• Collaborate with college leadership, faculty, and University Advancement to align donor interests with funding priorities

What We Are Looking For

• A proven fundraiser with three to five years of experience in philanthropy, development, or a related field

• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills

• A track record of securing gifts of $50,000 or more and working with high-level donors

• Knowledge of Moves Management and strategic donor engagement

• A collaborative, team-oriented professional who thrives in a high-energy environment

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred

• Ability to travel frequently with a valid driver’s license

• Working knowledge of fundraising strategies, tax laws, and charitable giving
