About the Organization
Planned Parenthood Keystone (PPKey) serves 37 counties in Pennsylvania, home to over half of Pennsylvania residents. We have administrative offices in the Lehigh Valley, Harrisburg, Warminster, and York. We operate 7 medical centers that serve over 30,000 patients annually and offer comprehensive sexuality education that reaches thousands of young adults.

Job Description
Position salary range: 120,000
Position reports to: CEO
Essential Functions
Lead philanthropic activities to support the goals of the strategic plan and annual operational plan
Provides strategic thinking, planning, and leadership to promote, grow, and support philanthropy through major gifts, planned giving, special events, corporate sponsorships, capital campaigns, endowments, and other fundraising strategies
Support Finance department in achieving financial health and sustainabilityBuilds and maintains relationships with key constituents including grant-making organizations, major donors and community stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with the Board of Directors, and the Board Development Committee, to ensure board participation in philanthropic activities and Board giving.
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Philanthropy Officers, Director of Development, and Development Manager, including administering 12-month written performance evaluations; as well as creating and overseeing staff work plans
Awareness and analysis of trends in the community, local economy, and within the industry that impact brand and philanthropy
Participate in the quality/risk management process, monthly accounting reconciliation, regulatory agency compliance, HR policies, and workplace safety policies
Serve as an Ambassador for the organization to inspire support and connection with the mission and services provided by the affiliate
Ensure completion of required annual training
Adhere to all HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
Additional information Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
10 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, including event planning, major gift solicitation, and senior management participation
Willingness to travel. Reliable means of transportation
Computer literacy, including competency in affiliate email, Internet, and patient management systems software, if applicable to job
Excellent interpersonal and communication, verbal & written, skills that enable work in a collaborative and multi-faceted team environment
Previous experience of management / business practices and principles, including budgeting
Ability to mentor individuals and lead a team
Strategic thinking; including strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong commitment to the American Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Code of Ethics.
Computer literacy, including competency in Microsoft Office, email, Internet, and other appropriate software
Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Ability to analyze and interpret concrete and abstract data, business and professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports, and applicable government laws and regulations
Preferred
Masters degree

Salary and Benefits
Compensation for this position starts at $120,000/annually and goes up from there based on experience
